Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use my insurance?
Maybe. You'll need to check with your therapist to see whether or not they are in network, or planning to be in network with your insurance provider. If you don't see your insurance listed, we will provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
Something came up, I need to cancel...
You are free to cancel your appointment through the client portal or by emailing your therapist.
Any cancellations within 24 hours of an appointment are subject to a late fee equal to your session charge. If you pay for sessions with insurance, your late fee is based on the total of your co-pay and your insurance company's reimbursement.
Is my information private?
Annie's Counseling is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of clients. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations about privacy are enforced. We use HIPAA compliant technology for record storage, communication, and telehealth sessions.
Confidentiality will be pierced if for any reason your therapist required by law to make a report to child or adult protective services, law enforcement, medical emergencies, or if client records are subpeoned by the court. Please contact us if you have further questions about your privacy.
I'm ready to move forward, now what?
We offer 15 minute free phone consultations to new clients to make sure you and your therapist can work together to achieve your goals. You can set up consultations through our client portal.
If you or the therapist think you're not a good fit, we can offer referral to other professionals to help you get the support you seek.
I want to see a copy of your policies.
All the policies are available to you through the client portal. If you aren't yet a client and wish to see them, please contact us and we will provide them for you. You may read the good faith estimate disclaimer here.
